In succession proceedings, the heir must go in PERSON to the district court that issued the succession order to obtain a stamp of finality on the succession order. The opening hours of the district courts are abnormal: 2.5 hours on Monday and Friday mornings and 2.5 hours on Wednesday afternoons only. Given that it is a matter of a stamp, I assume that this does not require the presence of a judge, but can be done by the lower court staff. I would also expect that, in the modern era of digital access to central databases, this stamp can be given by any court in Slovenia when consulting the final judgments that have been issued. I suggest that you amend the legislation governing this so that the stamp for final judgments can be obtained from any district court.
