We propose to remove an administrative barrier in the VEM system, namely the size of the annexes to be attached. In the specific case of sick notes, the size of attachments is limited to 150kb on the e-Vem portal, which is extremely small in digital correspondence and imposes unnecessary burdens on our business. Scans of sick notes are much larger, which is a major problem for us. Each scan has to be scanned again as black and white in order to achieve the correct size. This makes the scans very poor and the data on the sick notes cannot be seen. We propose that the Health Insurance Fund immediately increases the upper limit on the size of the attached files, as this will relieve employers of an enormous time and administrative burden.
