Hello. I think that the CPCPA should be amended with regard to the confiscation of a vehicle. The law provides for the immediate confiscation of the vehicle of persons whose driving licence has expired and therefore a new medical certificate is required. In general terms, I would already agree. However, the problem for me was that I have dioptres, so you have to renew your medical certificate or driving licence every 3 years. If you are not careful, you get your vehicle taken away, as happened to me. There are many more people who are medically unfit to drive than someone who has a bit of deoptrics and takes care of their own regular check-ups with their GP. I suggest that notification before the expiry of the driving licence should be introduced.
