We ask for an early amendment of the legislation on the tourist tax and the promotion tax, because these terms are of no interest to tourists and tourism workers and they introduce confusion and complications for tourists and tourism workers alike.
- The registration of a guest in AJPES is only for the tourist tax (it could be ttax+promo tax together).
- On the invoice (register) it is necessary to write separately the value of ttax and promo tax (according to the instruction of the Ministry of Finance) it would make more sense to make it one item - promo tourist tax.
- Separate records should be kept (depending on the municipality) for ttax and promo tax.
I suggest that the promotional tourist tax is kept under one heading - where the money goes to the state or the municipality is of no interest to the end user, as a tourist worker. What he or she is interested in is that the system is as simple and easy to use as possible.
