Some time ago, I caused minor damage to someone else's car. When I immediately pleaded guilty, I filled in a Euro form with a detailed description and full details. I got a negative surprise two months later when the owner of the other car wanted to repair the damage. I got home with long instructions from my insurer. I was asked to provide them with a copy of my driving licence, my road licence, a copy of the Euro form and the attached two-page form, where I had to copy all the information from the Euro form. I had to provide all of this within three days, urgently. I would have understood that they would have checked with me only the authenticity of the correct intermediate information on the Euro form already filled in and my agreement to the damage reported. Anything else I see as a major bureaucratic hurdle and a burden on the citizen with complicated procedures. After all, the insurance company already has all the necessary information about me from the time when I took out the car insurance. So why all the extra copies? They have also received the Euro form, so why the extra data on the new form? Regards.
