I have recently come across a major nonsense or bureaucratic obstacle for sole traders, which is being caused by some banks. I opened a sole proprietorship and the bank asked me to open an additional business account, even though I already have a personal account with the same bank. The Act on Payment Services, Electronic Money Issuing Services and Payment Systems (Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia, No 7/18 and 9/18 - corrected) does not state that a personal account cannot also be used for business purposes, only that you have to inform the bank that you are using your personal account for business purposes. In my case, it is also causing additional costs for the s.p., as both have to pay costs.
