Hello, I propose a corresponding amendment to Article 20 of the Gambling Act, which stipulates that a raffle or lottery held as part of the cultural or entertainment programme of the organiser does not require a licence if the total value of the lottery tickets does not exceed an amount to be determined by the Ministry responsible for finance and if the value of the individual prizes does not exceed the amount on which the gambling winnings tax is payable. However, the organiser must notify the administrative authority responsible for internal affairs of the holding of such a game not later than eight days before the event. I propose that Article 20(2) be deleted when the law is next amended, as in this part it is merely an unnecessary administrative task, and I cannot imagine what the administrative unit or the Ministry of the Interior is doing with this notification. Regards.
