Authorised persons (notaries) should be given on-line access to land use certificates issued by municipalities. In the process of sale or purchase of land, it is necessary to obtain the land use certificate issued by the municipal administrations. The acquisition process is usually carried out by ordinary mail, which further prolongs the transaction process and incurs unnecessary costs (mailing, slow response time of municipal administrations, etc.). Each municipality already uses one of the two spatial systems: IOBCINA: https://gis.iobcina.si/gisapp/? PISO: http://www.geoprostor.net/PisoPortal/Default.aspx Each of them already has a module for issuing these certificates, which is also used by the municipal administrations. In both cases, the systems can be accessed via the web. With a suitable username and password or, better still, a digital certificate login, any notary or other authorised person would be able to access the land use certificate immediately. This would shorten and simplify the land sale/purchase process by eliminating the usual several days of postal communication between the notariat and the municipal administration, as well as the associated costs.
