When I want to renew a work permit for an employee I have a problem at the UE, because they only accept renewal applications 1 month before the expiry date, and in practice it has happened to me twice (!) - as many times as I needed - that the renewal process took longer than 1 month, specifically 2 months, which means that I could not work with the potential staff for a whole month!
When I tried to persuade the clerk to submit all the documentation earlier (I had everything ready), I was told that this was not possible, so that the application was only accepted 1 month before the expiry date, which is pure nonsense, as certain procedures (in my case both extension procedures took 2 months) take more than 1 month, thus destroying our competitiveness and the work process itself, and I suggest that the UE should be allowed to submit the application earlier, so that we can run our business smoothly.
