The new migrant legislation has defined a simplified way of recruiting foreign nationals, which should mean fewer annexes, faster response times and more transparency for us as users. Unfortunately, users are still finding that there are bottlenecks in the transfer of data or documentation between the Employment Service and the Administrative Units, as the foreseen time limits for decision-making in administrative procedures are not respected, which are much longer than the foreseen 30 days. The same argument can be made for the administrative procedures related to the issuing of work permits for foreigners at the Employment Service, which take over 60 days, as opposed to the 15 days foreseen for e.g. Bosnian nationals. In the light of the above - is it not possible to simplify the use of work applications and web portals that would enable the staff of the Employment Service and the Administrative Units to issue uniform permits or work permits in a timely manner (within the prescribed deadlines) and in a timely manner.
