I propose to delete the provisions on the publication of appointments and dismissals of experts in the Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia in Articles 11 and 24 of the Rules on Court Appraisers and Court Experts. This seems to me to be an irrational waste of our taxpayers' money. It is sufficient for the information to be published on the Ministry's website, but at the same time, the public part of the list of appointees is also always published on the Ministry's website and is available to everyone at any time. I am making the same proposal for the Rules on Court Interpreters. Abolition of the publication in the Official Journal provided for in Articles 10 and 17. I am sure that publications in the Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia do not contribute to greater information, they just make the whole process unnecessarily expensive. At the same time, I suggest that consideration be given to amending the Courts Act in the sense that the final appointment of experts, appraisers and interpreters is made in such a way that they are sworn in before the Minister of Justice. What is the point of doing this at all if the appointment decision is the relevant one?
