Proposal for amendment of the conditions for obtaining consent for a public event on a lake
If you want to organise an event (regatta) on a lake, you have to obtain several consents under the current legislation, as well as security, emergency medical assistance, landowners' consent, divers. For the same event at sea, all you need to do is apply to the URSP and pay the costs of €20. The URSP will issue the consent within 1-2 days.  However, it is necessary to submit the application to the Administrative Unit at least one month in advance, as matters can get complicated. The cost of holding a two-day event at sea is EUR 20, while on a lake the cost is around EUR 1000. The law is completely discriminatory for lake races, as the average participation in such regattas is a maximum of 25 crews, which means 50 people. At sea, where a regatta is organised and there is an international participation of over 100 crews, all that is required is registration with the URSP.
