Hello. As an employer, we are subject to a number of record-keeping and reporting obligations. Article 84(2) of the Private Security Act (ZZasv-1) requires us to notify the records manager (the Inspectorate of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia) within eight days of the date of conclusion or termination of the employment relationship of security personnel. If the employer fails to do so, the penalty is from EUR 2,000 to EUR 4,000 - the company and the responsible person from EUR 400 to EUR 600. We were recently warned by the Inspectorate that we were in breach of the above-mentioned Article of the Law, even though they had checked that the employee had been correctly registered with the M-1 form (compulsory social insurance) and we had forgotten to inform them within 8 days that we had employed the person. We suggest that this bureaucratic obstacle be removed. We are aware that the ZZZS keeps a record of security staff - employment and termination of employment - specifically for the Inspectorate.
