In times of crisis, companies in the real sector are watching every euro, and the public sector should try to save some too. I have a modest but concrete proposal. A few days ago, in our company, we had a claim rejected by the Employment Service simply because it was submitted a few days too early. The same thing has happened to us several times at the Health Insurance Institute. I do not know about other state bodies, but I believe that this is common practice. It seems like a small matter, but it has happened to us many times, and probably not only to us. Proposal: If a civil servant is given a case to decide on that he can only decide on in a few days' time, he should not reject it with a bunch of letters, but simply wait those few days and then decide on it.
