I am active in the field of design in the construction industry. Payment for the work we do is often tied to obtaining a building or occupancy permit for a building, which means we have to wait 6 months or more to get our money. The tax office does not understand this and persistently blocks us on a monthly basis, preventing us from operating and, by blocking our accounts, preventing us from participating in state tenders. By blocking our accounts, it also causes us additional costs - about €100 extra per month. In addition, the state also does not pay its bills within the currency deadline - e.g. the Ministry of Health pays 5 or 6 months by currency, if you get paid within 3 months, you can be happy. They could at least be kind enough to send a reminder before the blockade, saying what deadline they will really give for enforcement. Then what happens is that you just manage to pay them in the morning (when you are just getting an inflow), and then the same day, just three hours later, a writ of execution comes to the bank for the full amount, giving them a bigger overpayment, and nobody even notices. All those who can afford it (the State - FURS, banks, insurance companies, etc.) would like to squeeze the last drop of blood out of small entrepreneurs. In short, the state is being terribly unfriendly to those of us who are still struggling and trying to survive.
