Dear Sir or Madam, A few days ago, I sent you a question about the issue of tax receipts for individuals and received an incredibly bureaucratic reply. Please answer the following questions arising from your reply: 1. We have to fill in an application form at the FURS counter. This application is then sent to the Grosuplje branch office, where it is processed, and then the certificate is sent in writing within a few days (maximum 15 days!). In your reply, you wrote that this organisation has proved successful. Please answer me for whom? For you? For the three newly recruited officials? For Post Slovenije when you send letters? Because from the point of view of several users, I can tell you that it is not for us. It is an unnecessary cost (bureaucrats, post, time) which we, the taxpayers, bear. It is unnecessary wasted time, which is completely unnecessarily spent by the users. Who is this system for and why was it adopted? (if your answer is "Because it is the law", please do not answer) 2. Why didn't the FURS clerk at the counter warn me that I could get my certificate on the same day? 3. Why is there a special branch that takes care of just that? Is a multi-million euro IT system really not capable of doing this instantly, at the touch of 9 buttons (tax number and enter)? 4. If we have a special branch to issue this certificate... Then why did they not tell me in this letter that I have quite a few OVERPAID tax liabilities? 5. What should be done to abolish this certificate issuing organisation, which is so successful for you and so wasteful for your taxpayers, and to implement a much better quality, cheaper and friendlier way of issuing a certificate immediately. This question relates to a question already submitted by a user and the response of the competent authority.
