"Dear Sir, We are part of the Jonhson Controls corporation and we operate on Slovenian soil as a supplier of the most complex component of the automotive industry, namely the production of seating for Revoz d.d. Being part of one of the most advanced companies in the world in the automotive industry, we are expected to innovate and reduce costs on a daily basis. In the latter, we are constrained by a law that was passed in 1967 and is still in force today. It concerns the speed of forklift trucks indoors. The law says that indoors, the speed must not exceed 5 km/h, which was the right decision for those days, but 50 years later, it is a major roadblock for progressive companies. I should also mention that it is not possible to buy (or hire) a forklift on the market for our use that has a maximum speed of 5 km/h, so we are forced to pay for the rebuilding of new forklifts, which is absurd. Please take the example as a priority and help us to fight foreign competition, because in the end it is only the cost per unit produced that matters. Cheaper wins. On behalf of the company, we thank you in advance for a speedy solution. The proposal is to increase the speed to 10km/h."
