We are a small farm (approx. 3 ha), which cannot work at all without the Agricultural Forestry Service, and of course we have to pay the chamber's contribution. For all applications, if we want to apply for municipal and national tenders, we have to apply for payment entitlements or subsidies only through them, and we have to pay a lot more. Would it not be possible, by confirming membership, to be able to submit applications ourselves and thus reduce costs? I think that there is too much red tape in agriculture and too much bureaucracy, that sometimes it is an end in itself for the State to give us a subsidy and at the same time take its % from us. If I compare IT, AT, the agricultural services should be going to our farms and giving us advice, not us going to them. I do not think they realise that they are there for us farmers.
