I would like to know whether or why farmers have to fill in an application for exemption from the environmental levy on water every year, given that all the information is available from public records and farmers just copy it into the application (certificate from the household register and subsidy application). Not only is this extra work for farmers, but many farmers will forget (it is a few tens of euros a year) and will have to pay the levy.
