Based on the inheritance court proceedings in Croatia and their official document, in order to enter the change of ownership in the land register, the DURS should only stamp on the orignal document that the property is tax exempt in Slovenia, as it is a first order inheritance. They do not want to do this, or they would have to reopen a new inheritance discussion in the competent Slovenian court. Only on the basis of their new court decision would DURS give me the necessary stamp. Given the fact that both are EU Member States, this is not permissible and probably not in accordance with the legal provisions.
