So how do I inform my employer in advance of the date on which I will be taking leave? Before the birth and for several days after the birth, the child does not yet have a registration number, which should be entered on the form. Secondly, I am annoyed that my employer has to prepare my benefits information and agree to the date of my leave (and before the birth!). This is completely unnecessary, as the CSD has all the information on my benefits. In short, the procedure should be such that all this can be arranged without a visit to the CSD, i.e. via an electronic application and without providing any receipts.
