Hello. I have been living in Slovenia for 2 years and I am an applicant for international protection. I have 4 months of work experience, which is not enough to start my own business, as the minimum requirement is 9 months of work experience. I would like to open my own business as nobody wants to employ asylum seekers, but the 200 EUR monthly fee is too much for me. It would be necessary to amend the entrepreneurship legislation in the RS to change the obligation of the monthly levy of EUR 200 for the s.p. to a cash turnover tax (tax on actual turnover??), which means that I would pay tax once a year on the turnover generated in that year. That way I would not have to pay tax for the time when I earned nothing and was in the red. It would also be appropriate not to put obstacles in the way of asylum seekers setting up a sole proprietorship, because at the moment it takes 9 months of work experience, and why can't an asylum seeker set up a business straight away?
