I propose that the so-called Appendix be abolished in environmental impact assessments, in accordance with the Regulation on the assessment of the acceptability of the impacts of the implementation of plans and interventions in nature on protected areas, because in practice, information is copied from the plan and the law, and there is very little actual expert work in relation to the overall scope of the report. This part could easily be included in the Environmental Impact Assessment (with slightly expanded content), as all the themes in the EIA are also addressed in the SEA. There is no need for this to be a stand-alone document. The addendum is unnecessary ballast, which further delays the whole process of adopting e.g. the OPN or other plans and significantly increases the cost for the investor (we are talking about 10s of thousands of EUR for one report). If the prescribed contents of the addendum are e.g. to facilitate reporting to the EU, it is all the more unjustified that the additional costs and time are borne by the investor.
