Inspection records at Mercator, d.d.d. I often prepare more complex responses to inspection findings (URSVHVVR, TIRS, ZIRS,URSVNDN, URSK...) and it actually happens to us on a daily basis that when we read the handwritten inspection reports of the official control persons, we are not able to DECRYPT them because they are illegible. I have just got such a five-page report on my desk, which will probably take me 4-5 hours to read, and the time to reply to the decision is five days. I suggest that all inspectors in this country be paid for a course in technical writing or be provided with equipment that will enable the recipient of the report to quickly and efficiently rectify the non-compliance and thus close the case. Alternatively, amend the CP to allow 10 days for a response rather than five. Unfortunately, I cannot attach the inspection report. I hope that your working zeal will help to make a difference in this area in the next ten years.
