Dear stopbirokraciji.si, We are writing to you regarding the time-consuming and costly uploading of shipping certificates to the SSN application. As requested by the Maritime Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, the list of these certificates is getting longer every month. The validity of the certificates is limited in time, so the user is forced to delete them, enter new ones, enter new info. about the validity date. Ship certificates are sent by satellite e-mail, which is an additional cost for the shipowner. We think it would be simpler to attach a list of all the EU required ship certificates that ships have to have on board anyway, with the date of validity.
The EU requires that certificates and other legally required documents are present on board. Is it also justified to require that they are entered in the SSN application ?
