I am highlighting the problem of just one car traffic licence in a practical example.
My wife and I have one vehicle, which we both drive. The car is registered to me, although it is not mine, but ours. Leaving the licence in the car is controversial, because if it is stolen, you are left without a licence, which can cause problems when the insurance company pays out the claim. I think it would be correct, opportune and also fair if we could order two driving licences, thus avoiding the almost standard problem that at least one person is almost certainly always driving without this document.
