The petition refers to the Regulation on Amendments and Additions to the Regulation on the Implementation of the Tax Procedure Act, published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No 101/2011, on 12 December 2011.I propose to abolish the recently enacted restrictions on the payment of goods and services in cash. Why: because it imposes a huge amount of additional work and costs on businesses, especially small businesses, and because the burden is disproportionate to the potential benefits. It also makes us despair of a country that can afford such regulations, and we are seriously considering moving out. (When I first saw this regulation, I thought it was a joke - unfortunately it was not. I don't see how serious people can afford such a thing.)And another comment on the same subject from one of the online forums: "The state and bureaucrats know best how to "free up" and "help" the economy by removing bureaucratic obstacles. Adding new ones is obviously the best answer!"
