I suggest that the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of the Interior start issuing a "temporary" certificate or ID card to clients who have applied for a new ID card at the administrative units. Reason: when you apply for a new ID card, the officer destroys your existing one by punching it. If you order a new ID card by post to your home, you have a problem collecting it because you do not have an ID document to show to the Post Slovenije official who delivers your registered mail. It can also happen that the production of the new document is prolonged and the individual may be without any identity document for several days. If, for example, FURS can issue a printed copy of the certificate of the assigned tax number on an A4 sheet, I do not see any problem with the UE official issuing the customer with a certificate of ordering a new identity card, which is valid until the date of delivery of the new one, or not more than 7 days.
