I would like to see better integration of all the records with our data that exist at national level. It is very commendable that there are already many portals (eGovernment, eZPIZ, myZZZS, eTaxes, etc.), but the data from these portals are poorly interlinked, especially when it comes to the management of administrative procedures. I will give some examples where I have had problems myself, and where I think that public administration bodies and institutions with a public mandate could be unified and have access to all state records - that is, they could actually be given the power to access these data, and public officials could be encouraged to actually use them (many do not bother to ask for data that they can get themselves): - My temporary address is recorded in eGovernment or in the Central Register of Population, and when I registered at the administrative unit I also stated that I wanted all mail to come to my temporary address. When I had to deal with the service of a decision from the FURS, they sent the decision to my permanent address and told me that I would have to submit a separate form on eTaxes with my preferred address for service. I think this could be simplified and the address for service entered in eData could be used everywhere. - When registering for the unemployment register with the Employment Service, I had to provide information about my bank account abroad and registered with FURS, as well as about the Master's degree I have completed. I think that in this case, the civil servants would be able to retrieve both data themselves - the account data is in eTaxes, and the master's degree data is in, say, the University of Ljubljana's Repository. There are many more examples like this. Above all, I think that basic data on citizens (permanent address, temporary address, address for service, e-mail, bank account, etc.) should be accessible to all civil servants who manage administrative procedures in other areas - that is, to link social, health, finance and general data.
