Dear Sir or Madam, the government has decided that karatena decisions will be issued at the national border. They will be issued by civil servants (PUP and power of attorney) physically at the border. The work could be done remotely by a central duty team (e.g. in Ljubljana) for all border crossing points in the country. - Why are additional people being exposed to the risk of contamination instead of amending the Administrative Procedure Act? - Why are additional costs being incurred in terms of transport and setting up and maintaining the infrastructure at the border? - Who will be held responsible for possible different criteria in decentralised decision-making or issuing of decisions, and the consequences of these? Thank you very much for your reply. Kind regards!
