Dear Sir or Madam, In view of the decision of the FURS that self-employed persons who are also benefiting from parental care are not entitled to exemption from contributions and the right to basic income, we cannot agree more. I am self-employed with two children (7 and 2 years old) and I work part-time, i.e. I use parental care for 4 hours, but for 4 hours I work in my own business and pay my regular contributions. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I had to close my "doors" already on 12.03.2020 (after a call from the school that we had to come to pick up the children). Now I find that I am not entitled to any income and I do not pay any contributions. Today is the deadline for paying the contributions for March2020, for which I have nowhere to get the money, nor for paying the credit and the food for my children. Pensioners and people receiving social cash assistance will even get an allowance. In my opinion, these people are not really disadvantaged, because the amount of their pension and social assistance has not changed. I, who have been banned by the state from working and thus deprived of income, have to pay contributions, where.....? I hope that in this case they have looked at the whole picture and looked again at who is and who is not entitled to income loss compensation. Regards
