We are the victims of emissions from an air/water heat pump that is inappropriately installed on a plot boundary, between two buildings with vertical walls and sound-reflecting surfaces, and on the side where we have bedrooms. We are disturbed by noise, drumming throughout the house and icy blasting throughout the heating season. The legislation does not provide for the method of installation, so that none of the competent authorities (building inspection, police, judiciary) can sanction the matter. In short, there is no legal basis. I ask for the swift and effective adoption of the relevant law. The steady drumming noise 24/7 throughout the house is damaging our health, making it impossible to rest and live a normal life. And in the summer, we will cover our ears in the heat behind closed windows and suffer as our neighbour cools off and laughs because nobody can do anything for him! Strict penalties should be introduced for "rattle manufacturers, installers, investors and the EcoFund who do not control how the water/air heaters are installed".
