Recently, all health insurers offering supplementary health insurance raised their premiums to €31-32. This is a typical example of cartel collusion, but no one is punishing it. We have seen many examples of cartel collusion in Slovenia, from bus companies to suppliers of medical supplies. But are the culprits being punished adequately? It is more than obvious that the legislation in this area is too lax, as even the law enforcement authorities cannot follow it effectively. I ask the competent ministry to amend the legislation accordingly so that cartel collusion does not take place any more.
