I spend a lot of time on the road - on the motorway, to be precise. I see a lot of disrespect or arrogance from lorry drivers. They flout bans and speed limits. A good example of this is the ban on vehicles with tarpaulins and refrigerators driving in heavy winds on the Razdrto - Vipava route, or the ban on overtaking lorries on certain sections of the motorway between 2 pm and 5 pm. I suggest: - A speed limit for all goods vehicles of 80 km/h - Banning HGVs from the leftmost lane of motorways and expressways - tougher penalties for offenders - Strict penalties for overtaking in congestion and snow - Introduction of checkpoints on the motorway network where checks on goods vehicles can be carried out (technical inspection of the vehicle, tachograph records, paperwork and the driver's physical condition) Thank you and best regards!
