I am one of the many people who is scared to death of globalisation, neoliberalism and neo-conservatism. I have listed for you 3 powerful forces that have signed up to the coalition and are striking fear into people's bones. People are getting worried, they are getting scared, because they are getting scared about job losses. Globalism is therefore a policy where work moves to where labour is cheap. These are mainly countries in South America and Asia. Capital is moving there, and Asian and South American companies are growing at supersonic speed on the stock exchanges. But, we realise, the only people who benefit are those who have enough money to invest in these countries, which attract capital like a magnet attracts iron. The logic of capitalism is that money makes money. But money can only be made into money by those who have some money to start with so that they can make more money out of it. Those who do not have money to start with can only make money by working hard. How, then, are those who can only make money by working going to make money if work is moving to Asia and South America. That is why we have so much unemployment in Europe, because the work has gone to the other side of the world. Since we people can no longer live in fear of these 3 forces that I have mentioned above, I suggest to the government that it heavily tariffs all products coming from Asia and South America. I would like to see as few products as possible on our market that say MADE IN CHINA! These tariffs would solve 2 problems. We would prevent work from starting to move down there. With these tariffs, we would be able to pay pensions and give social support to the unemployed. I would ask the government to introduce this measure as soon as possible, before it is too late. I would not like to see Slovenia become Greece, a country of protest, rebellion and vandalism. I hope that my arguments have convinced you.
