I propose to introduce a regulation requiring motorists to keep their rear lights on at all times (I often see in newer cars with special daytime running lights that drivers only have the front daytime running lights on, which are small and not very powerful, and the rear of the car is not illuminated). In the daytime, in good weather, this is not such a problem, but the same drivers often then forget to turn on the lights in tunnels or in the evening when it gets dark, and this is a problem. I therefore suggest that all drivers should always have their rear lights on as well. Even in fine weather during the day, this improves the visibility of the car. But it is especially noticeable when it is raining, especially on motorways, where water rises from the ground into the air and creates a mist. In rainy weather, I would make it compulsory on all roads to use, in addition to the always-on tail lights, the front dipped headlights, or those lights that are used in the dark, i.e. the main headlights, or the lights that most people already drive with in the daytime. Simply because the daytime running lights (usually small LED lights) in newer cars are too weak.
