There is a law on how many years a citizen of the Republic of Slovenia can work and under what conditions he or she can retire. Once entitled to a pension, they receive and enjoy it. Some time ago, the so-called "afternoon s.p." was allowed, then the law was changed to say that if a pensioner is able to work, he should work, if not, he should live on what he has. The fact is that a pensioner has to give up part of his pension and open a part-time business, and pensions are extremely poor here. It is not possible to survive on EUR 400, as is claimed, but to get by. A person living alone, say, in a block of flats with heating, electricity, telephone, TV and, let us say, Internet and the manager's expenses, that for the cost of 200 euros, without clothes, without food, without supplementary insurance, without accident insurance, without a car, without means of care, without buying anything at the pharmacy, let alone anything else (washing powder, shampoos), what to be able to pay for a painkiller, a massage, a heart operation...how long do you wait for it??........ and it's so sad that you still hear people saying how many people are on the verge of survival, but pensioners are silent and ashamed because they don't have enough to eat.... For a pensioner to have to give up that little bit of security to try to live better is unfair because it puts extra pressure on them. The point is that a pensioner is not always healthy and cannot work full time all the time, but if you do not get the means for even basic security, if you do not get the full pension you have earned and you are not in the best of health and you can only work occasionally, two things happen, you can either live, you are on the backs of others, or, as is the case with most of the work, you are working illegally. No one asks how much it costs to employ a bunch of inspectors, which could be done away with by a proper law, I think it is necessary to look at the mutual benefit, not only for the benefit of the treasury of the zpiza and the zz. The casual and supplementary work that pensioners should be able to do includes only picking produce, selling produce, manual work....if someone wants to work in his own profession, as a mechanic, baker, ....it is impossible. I suggest to the government that the afternoon s.p. should be freed back and the pensioners should be allowed to have their whole pension so that they can work, because under less pressure, they can work better and at the same time the contributions for the afternoon s.p. can be increased so that it will be good for everyone, or the difference in the coffers can be made up. This will bring more money into the coffers and will also stop pensioners going hungry. More jobs can also be created if employment is allowed in the afternoon s.p.s. If this is being abused in any way, then concrete measures should be introduced. That way, even a man who is already burnt out would have the opportunity to live in dignity, to create and to employ someone else. Work is better under less pressure. In Germany, for example, a pensioner can earn an UNTITLED EUR 450 a month, in addition to the naturally higher pension, which he keeps in full. In Croatia, in addition to a full pension, he can work part-time...here, of course, there are possibilities to work through contracts, but the possibility to work independently is too limited. I think that people should be given the opportunity to work, then they can also contribute to the coffers, but if the income is reduced and the opportunity to work and create is reduced, it is impossible to do anything for oneself, for the coffers, or for others.
