There are real road battles on our motorways every day. One of the most pronounced battles happens when there is heavy traffic, when the traffic on both lanes gets heavier and some drivers start a battle for every metre of road surface by zigzagging unscrupulously from the traffic lane to the overtaking lane and so on. These drivers are a general danger to all other road users. I therefore propose that the Government amend the law on the ZPrCP for such drivers and define their behaviour as causing a general danger to other road users, in addition to lane changing. In this way, we would also make these drivers liable in the event of accidents that occur as a result of their dangerous driving. I believe that many accidents on the motorway are also caused by such drivers, because of sudden braking, obstruction of the view of the traffic, sudden adjustments of the safety distance, etc. In the event of an actual traffic accident ( you were swerving to avoid a vehicle that drove in front of you and hit a fence or another vehicle) caused by a third vehicle driving in a zigzag, you will be held fully liable, even though the accident would not have happened if you had not been overtaken earlier by the vehicle that was incorrectly overtaking you. So the law should add the possible consequences of zigzagging for other road users.
