I propose to the government that we become an example to the whole world and gradually introduce a reduction of working hours from 40 hours per month to an average of 38, so that most people are allowed to have the first Friday of every month off work, or the Citizens' Initiative Holiday, which many activists and protesters are demanding. The long-term goal would of course be to introduce a shortened 30-32 hour working week, with 5x6 hours per week, or 4x8, for greater work efficiency, reduced travel costs, food, and environmental pollution. It is time to give people a well-deserved break, because holidays are chronically scarce and no one sees a future in such working conditions of having to work until the age of 65, so it is right to take seriously this proposal, which you will hear many times, because it is time for CHANGE and respect for the will of the people. This proposal will give people up to 12 new days off work, where possible, because some people work 3 or 4 shifts and this proposal will not help them enough, which will require further solutions, and the existing holidays will clash with the Friday holiday, so it could be that there will be fewer than 12 days a year.
