I propose to introduce an eco-tax on all transit traffic through Slovenia. Because for the vast majority of both freight and passenger traffic on our roads, Slovenia is just a shortcut to their destinations from Austria to Italy, Croatia, Hungary and vice versa, and the only thing they leave behind is polluted air, destroyed roads, traffic jams and litter on the roadsides. I propose that an ecological tax be introduced and paid immediately upon entry into Slovenia, if they are only going through Slovenia. And let them leave us some money in the state coffers, in addition to the rubbish, the destroyed roads and the polluted air. For motorbikes €2, for cars €5, for vans €10 and for buses and lorries €15 eco-tax. All the money collected in this way should be used exclusively for the reconstruction and development of all Slovenian roads, especially national and regional roads, which in many places are already like Swiss cheese. www.rtvslo.si/slovenija/na-cestah-se-vedno-zastoji-ceprav-se-promet-po...
