I suggest that the government reduce the cost of building a property for those who do not yet own their own home. Young people want to live in their own flat, house or property, but do not have the means to do so. Housing is too expensive because of commissions and inflated prices. The Housing Fund of the Republic of Slovenia and for example the Public Housing Fund of the Municipality of Ljubljana are not doing their job as they provide housing for only 10% of the applications they receive in tenders. We all know that the real price of a property is below 1000€/m2. Prefabricated houses can be obtained for as little as €500/m2, but the problem is that the land and all the contributions are too expensive. The government should simplify and cheapen all the permits we would need. Perhaps we could make some kind of option so that those who do not yet have a property can build for themselves more cheaply. However, the problem is that in Slovenia this would be exploited somehow, so it would have to be well implemented.
