Hello, There is an anomaly in the property tax. For example; there is a block and a house on the same street. Both the house and the flats in the block have a garage (I think this is the case for all new blocks). The flat in the block of about 80m2 has two parking spaces in the garage, totalling about 13m2, and the house has a garage of the same size. Why does the property tax treat these two garages at different tax rates (0.50% for the block and 0.15% for the house)? Is it now an anomaly that my flat of approx. 80m2 with two parking spaces in a block is taxed at almost the same value as a significantly more valuable house in the same street? The Gürs say that this is because the garage in the block has its own number, but the garage belongs to the apartment - the block, just like the house. When we sell the flat in the block, we will sell it together with the parking space, the basement... I therefore propose to the government that the parking spaces in the garage of a block of flats should be treated in the same way as the garages in a house. LP
