Let's face it, there are times when we miss a speed limit sign and so don't know what the limit is.
I have an idea how to solve the problem of knowing the speed limit every moment without adding countless traffic signs. I wanted to make a suggestion a while back, but I didn't know if it was a good idea...I started thinking about this problem when I was driving 87kmh in a village on holiday last year...but I really didn't know I was in a village!!! I paid 1200eur which I thought was crazy and especially unfair considering it was my first speeding in 25 years of driving...I thought the limit was 90kmh.  The thing would look like this...that the side lines of the roads for each limit would be different colours for the whole duration of the limit...e.g. where it is 30kmh red, in the settlement e.g. blue, outside the settlement yellow, the car road white. I think subconsciously the colour you would have in front of your eyes would constantly warn you of the restriction where you are.... What do you think of the proposal?
