I propose a tax on chemical emissions from aircraft. Over 1000 planes fly over Slovenia every day, all of them emitting chemical substances into the atmosphere that pollute the air and water. They also cause the destruction of plant and animal species, an increase in cancer, respiratory diseases and allergies. They also have a significant impact on the climate in Slovenia. These emissions allow the weather to be manipulated and are intended to create conditions for 'natural disasters' such as hail, floods, frost, fog, excessive heat, etc. What I have said cannot be denied. The tax on chemical emissions from aircraft should be paid by the airlines whose aircraft fly over Slovenian airspace. The tax should be assessed according to the length of the journey made by the aircraft in Slovenian airspace and the size of the aircraft (number of seats, etc.). Air Traffic Control of Slovenia d.o.o. has collected data on which aircraft and from which airline fly over Slovenian airspace at a certain time on a certain day. DURS would thus easily obtain the necessary information on the taxable person. The tax collected is earmarked for the purpose of remedying the consequences of chemical emissions from aircraft.
