I don't know why many people still turn a blind eye. Prostitution is present, especially in the cities, and you see quite a few "love sellers" in the evening. Now some of them, the so-called pimps, are exploiting them, and the police and the judiciary are prosecuting and imprisoning them. Why not allow them to legalise their activity, as they have done in some places. Of course, 'brothels' should not be opened everywhere and all the time, but they should be allowed to ply their 'trade' legally. The consequences would be positive, as the state would collect more tax, the 'artisan' would be insured, and they would pay health and pension insurance. They would also have regular medical check-ups (just like all other employees) as a result of their work, thus curbing the spread of any unwanted diseases, and consequently saving the health service.
