New amendment to the law ("On the basis of the amendment to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance (ZPIZ-2), published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No 39/2013," the base for contributions from 1 January 2013 until the end of the transitional period is set at a reduced amount for persons who were voluntarily enrolled in the compulsory pension and disability insurance as unemployed persons registered with the Employment Service of the Republic of Slovenia until 31 December 2012. In 2013, the contributions thus calculated for these persons will amount to € 59.43 per month.)", which refers to the reduction of contributions from € 190 to € 59.43 per month, applies only to those who were registered on 1.1.2013 and have already paid it.
For all others, the contribution remains at €190.
I think this is unfair to all those who have been left without a job after that date and to all those who did not even know about this possibility until the change in the law (which includes me).
