In view of the general crisis in the country and the exploitation of some social transfers, I propose the mandatory introduction of inspectors to monitor recipients of social assistance for the following reasons: - I know of several cases of single women with children (mostly foreigners) who are unemployed and who, despite being unemployed, are living on a shoestring. Specifically, they can afford to travel, go on trips, buy expensive clothes and generally afford much more than many employees, - live in subsidised (solidarity) housing, - they have been unemployed for more than 10 years and with a higher education, as if they really did not want to work - at least not officially. - they work illegally in bars whenever they can, - they don't speak Slovenian, but they have Slovenian citizenship, - they also receive child allowances, To me, this is pure peeling and exploitation of the state. A healthy, supposedly educated woman is not able to find a job in more than 10 years! Why am I writing this? Because I know of people who are in very urgent need of social assistance, but because they are co-owners of a property which they cannot sell or rent out without the consent of the co-owners, they do not receive social assistance and they are without any income - without social assistance and without any cash benefit. Where is justice and where is the welfare state? If these and similar cases of recipients of social assistance have a clear conscience, I believe that they themselves will agree to scrutiny. If they can justify and explain their long and leisurely life, they should not be bothered by the controls. In the vast majority of cases, however, such people are merely taking advantage of social transfers and are a heavy financial burden on the state.
