I suggest that more inspectors be employed to check whether single parents are actually single parents or whether they are just single parents on paper in order to get as much money as possible from the state coffers. This fraud results in lower kindergarten fees, payment of unjustified social assistance, child allowances, etc., which in turn results in a mass of payments from the public purse, which is clearly no longer able to cope! Such checks must be carried out at the time of applying for aid and at any time up to the end of the grant. This is NOT an invasion of privacy, but merely a control over the use of public funds. The current system, where you only have to declare that you are a single parent and register yourself and your child at one address, while the other partner remains registered with the parents, is a disaster and a mockery of honest citizens! You might bring a neighbour who declares that you are a single parent... But there it is. The pennies are dropping. Employing more inspectors will soon turn out to be a big money-spinner, as the state will save a lot of money and many people will get a job, thus solving their subsistence problem.
