I propose stricter controls on general practice concessionaires or even the abolition of GPs, except perhaps in the townships. Nurses would be enough for minor health problems, and specialists would be enough for the rest, because every man knows where he hurts. Concessionaires abuse the health budget, make the wrong diagnoses and give the wrong medicines, in short, they like to procrastinate, thus securing a higher number of visits and thus eating up budget money.
