I propose that teachers, educators and other educational staff work 8-hour days. Teachers, in particular, leave their jobs after 12 o'clock and are therefore only on the job for 4 hours, and are therefore paid a high salary, even at EUR 1 900 net (my cousin gets that much, and she has only 25 years' service, and I have seen the pay slip with my own eyes). Teachers get a basic salary of at least EUR 1 200 net during the main holidays, which last 2 months, and they do nothing during those 2 months. In addition to having their own holidays, which they can use during their working hours, teachers have winter, May Day, summer holidays, cultural holidays, sports days. What bothers me is that teachers have extra-curricular activities, classroom teaching and something else paid for, even though they do all this within their working time (in a 4-hour working day). So here the school teachers have played the state and the state budget. Major changes are needed here. School employees have a snack every day, yet they get paid separately on the payroll, hence the high amounts of their incomes. I suggest that during the summer holidays, teachers, like other seasonal workers, go to the Employment Service, which will find them suitable work during this time, because they will be able to get the pay they deserve for their work!
